Special sample instructions

FBC and reticulocyte count for referring lab required for interpretive comment.

This test must be booked in advance with the laboratory. Please call the laboratory prior to taking the sample.  It may not be possible for the laboratory to process samples received Thursday/Friday.

Storage and transport

Samples must be received in the laboratory within 24 hours of collection. Please contact the laboratory on 020 3299 2455 prior to sending the sample.
