Pre-implantation Genetic Testing Laboratory

Our team offers testing of preimplantation embryos to identify familial variants (PGT-M) or imbalances arising from parental chromosome rearrangements (PGT-SR). It is a nationally commissioned service and the Guy’s & St Thomas’ PGT unit is a centre of excellence and internationally renowned.

Individual tests provided by the laboratory are accredited under a UKAS Flexible Scope. As these are developed as required, they are not published on the website but are available to the Clinical Genetics team through contacting the laboratory.
