- The fractional excretion of uric acid collection is decreased in gout and familial juvenile hyperuricaemia, also known as autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD).
- Clinical details
- The fractional excretion of uric acid (FEur) is decreased in under-excreting gout and autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease. FEur may be dramatically increased in patients with hereditary renal hypouricaemia.
