- Sample type and volume required
- Fluid samples for ADA analysis MUST be packed in individual plastic bags. The request form should be accessible in the side pocket as the plastic bag containing the sample can only be opened in a CL3 laboratory. If multiple samples are received in the same bag, it is possible that none of the samples can be analysed. Fluid samples received are filtered to be microbiologically safe. Pleural and ascitic fluid: 2 - 5 mL required CSF: 1 mL required

- Stable at 4oC or frozen for at least 4 weeks. Send at room temperature by first class post.
