Clonality Assessment (IgH/TCR) for suspected cutaneous lymphoma

Description
The cutaneous lymphoma service at GSTFT is the largest tertiary referral centre in the UK for primary cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL) . The laboratory provides a molecular diagnostic service for clonality assessment in cutaneous T- and B-cell lymphoma and has a strong international reputation for clinical excellence and research. The majority of cases analysed are requested through our cutaneous lymphoma MDM but we accept direct referrals for outside cases. Assays are performed on fresh/frozen lesional skin biopsies or paraffin embedded tissue, we will also analyse matched blood samples and other tissues if involvement is suspected. Further information and request forms can be obtained by contacting the laboratory directly. Translational research is fundamental to the laboratory and we are continually working towards enhancing and developing our service.
