Hub Laboratory
All Primary Care and “Non Acute” Hospital samples are processed at the Hub Laboratory.
Hub Opening Hours are 08:00 to 20:00 hrs.
Urgent samples from Primary Care – Telephone 01823 346706 (09:00 to 17:30) & 01823 346725 (17:30 to 20:00) – Outside of the Hub opening hours contact Biochemistry BMS as shown below

Taunton
Acute Hospital samples are processed 24/7. Urgent samples (i.e. those required urgently for immediate patient management) should also be notified to the laboratory by telephone during the hours of 09:00 – 20:00. Outside these times urgent requests should be notified to the Biochemistry BMS on bleep 2272 or Haemtology BMS on bleep 2273 (or via Hospital Switchboard).

Yeovil
Acute Hospital samples are processed 24/7. Urgent samples (i.e. those required urgently for immediate patient management) should also be notified to the laboratory by telephone during the hours of 09:00 – 20:00. Outside these times urgent requests should be notified to the Duty BMS via Hospital Switchboard.
