SYNLAB UK&I joins the Equalex Employer Charter
Talent, not background, should determine the next generation of healthcare scientists.
SYNLAB UK&I has strengthened its commitment to improving employment opportunities for young Londoners by signing the Equalex Employer Charter.
This is a shared commitment between us and the Central London Careers Hub to provide high quality and inclusive work experience for young people.
We will work in partnership with the Career Hub and local educational institutions to reach young people in our community who are interested in a career in science or medicine but may not yet have had the opportunity to explore one.
Michelle Plange, Head of Apprenticeships and Scientific Development, said: “Many young people are interested in careers in science and medicine but may not have access to the opportunity to experience those careers in practice.
We’re currently fulfilling the terms of the Charter at Synnovis, our NHS partnership in South East London, and exploring relationships with other Career Hubs in Somerset, Manchester and Essex.
