We have been alerted to the fact that a clinic is being organised in Bristol on Monday 14 March under SYNLAB’s name and brand. It appears to be aimed at people suffering from long-COVID and injuries following vaccination. On behalf of the SYNLAB Group, I can confirm that SYNLAB is neither involved nor associated in any way with this clinic. The clinic has been arranged by an independent party without our involvement and without our consent. We were involved in some exploratory conversations some weeks ago about supporting such a service, but this was not something we chose to pursue.
At SYNLAB, we are committed to providing high quality testing and diagnostics services, with people and consumers at the heart of everything we do. To this end, whilst we are unable to comment on the service being arranged in Bristol by another party as we are not involved in any way, we would advise people who might be considering using this service to exercise appropriate caution.
I am proud to say that SYNLAB continues to be at the forefront of scientific developments relating to COVID and wider healthcare. We continue to explore opportunities to deliver health and wellbeing benefits through our global testing and diagnostic services. Testing for long-COVID is not a service that we offer in the UK at this time.
